Sixteen months after the last Liberian Education Assistance Project (LEAP) teacher-training workshop, two U.S. trainers returned to Liberia in November to see whether the lessons had taken root. Stephanie Vickers and Joan Hamilton, both from Portland, Ore., visited 42 schools in three weeks.
